Company says it co-operated with all authorities and the ‘dark era’ is behind it

This comes after representatives of the multinational management consulting firm were charged by the National Prosecuting Authority over the R398.4m Transnet fraud case.The Investigative Directorate said it was trying to locate Vigas Sagar, a former principal and employee of the company, who was out of the country. He was indicted for his involvement in hiscKinsey. “We remain deeply remorseful that our firm has in any way been associated with the dark era of state capture.

“We co-operated with all authorities, including the NPA, and shared everything we found from our own extensive internal investigations. Three senior partners [testified] before the judicial commission of inquiry.”

Of course they would say that as they could end up in prison

In your dreams McKinsey. You bastatds screwed us every which way without any conscience. For $ aided and abetted by thugs. You leapt at the chance We'll see you in court! We have superb lawyers, a match for yours. Money won't buy you justice because right is on our side.

McKinsey is a company whose purpose is to do due diligence and surely they could have picked it up on their side what was transpiring. Coming out now and letting a few individuals take the fall is not acceptable. The amount paid back is negligible compared to the long term damage

It was the likes of McKinsey and other companies who supported and encouraged corruption in the country and it is because of their support that employees at state companies became very comfortable looting the state. Why did McKinsey not report the matter before it was discovered
