She’s a razor-sharp producer who was born in Namibia and says she found the going tough at first. Looking to push her artistry, the decision to be a part of this novel project was an easy one for one of the most potent beatsmiths we might have in the country. “We are all affected by what has been happening,” agrees Jeanz. “So, it really just highlighted how important collaboration is. It brought different artists together to create something amazing. On a regular day, I think it would be harder to approach others to work, but this just made it so much easier. It also had us sharing ideas and creating outside of MadeIn72Hours.”

She says: “I want to tell them to get on with the programme. You’re listening to music but the artist is not getting paid right now. Think about the artist, collaborate with the artists that are making everyone feel good because people are playing music and feeling good.” She says she relishes the time she spent on the project: “It was really awesome. It was lit working with them [other artists]. It was great seeing how we could work together even during lockdown. It was so awesome.
