Responding to an article about the rumour, he wrote on X ,"I don't usually comment on anything in the press, but this time I have to say it. It is completely false that this happened." Vitinha joined PSG from FC Porto last season in a deal worth €41.5 million but struggle to perform consistently in his debut campaign.
The initial reports also claimed that Neymar also had the impression that Vitinha is average, which is reportedly caused further tension between playmaker at the former FC Barcelona duo - with the two of them having since left the Parc des Princes prior to the start of 2023/24.
