Following a humiliating 4-1 defeat to Newcastle United in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night, Paris Saint-Germain boss Luis Enrique has reacted to the shock result, insisting it isn't a fair one.
The French giants suffered their heaviest group-stage defeat ever in the Champions League after goals by Miguel Almiron, Dan Burn, Sean Longstaff, and a stoppage-time stunner by Fabian Schar ensured that the Magpies also claimed their biggest win ever in the competition.
However, Les Parisiens' manager believes the result was unfair on his side, despite it being his heaviest defeat since taking charge of the Ligue 1 giants in July.:"The result is so big for them. But I think we didn't deserve that result." :"An amazing evening for us. So many stories to talk about within the game itself, but just first and foremost, delighted for everyone connected with the club."They are such a good team. We had to defend really well and we did.
"I thought, collectively, our spirit and our energy was excellent. We created the positive things we had in the first half from really aggressive pressing, everything that's a hallmark of ours when we play well. For 14 free days, you can have access to the best from Soccer Laduma, KickOff, Daily Sun, TrueLove and Drum.
