Protesters trying to attract politicians' attention - Municipal IQ | gerbjan

In the wake of the protests in Alexandra in the DA-governed Johannesburg municipality, the DA claimed that the protests are"ANC-fuelled anarchy".

She said it was possible that the large, well-publicised protest action, such as in Alexandra, gave rise to protests elsewhere in the country. Municipal IQ managing director Kevin Allan said:"As was widely anticipated, protests have surged – to a new record for the first quarter. It is likely that protesters are making the most of the opportunity to draw politicians' attention to their grievances in the run-up to elections."

gerbjan The picture tells the truth as it is, these are not protests, these are riots. So lets call them by what they really are. These are orchestrated to cause unrest, typical tactic used by the ANC EFF these parties want the country to remain divided - they do not want a united SA

gerbjan As they did in: Apr 2019 Mar 2019 Feb 2019 Jan 2019 Dec 2018 Nov 2018 Oct 2018 Sep 2018 Aug 2018 Jul 2018 Jun 2018 May 2018 Apr 2018 Mar 2018 Feb 2018 Jan 2018 Dec 2017 Nov 2017 Oct 2017 Sep 2017 Aug 2017 Jul 2017 Jun 2017 etc Try harder Municipal IQ.

gerbjan Can’t they write them a letter or give them a call? Why burn the country down. It is because of the thugs they are voting for that they’re unhappy.

gerbjan Our politicians are far too busy making lots of money to be concerned with the needs of the people.

Protests to spike ahead of elections, warns Municipal IQThere have been protests in Alexandra over the past two weeks, with demonstrations in and around Tshwane and in Somerset West on Thursday morning. It is disturbing to see the deplorable MO of the ANC to deploy goons to DA led areas to disturb, devide, destroy causing devastating damage to infrastructure. Those mindless thugs doing the ANC's dirty work don't realise that they are only pawns and collateral damage in the end.
