Prince William and Kate Middleton visited the Foundling Museum on Wednesday - their first joint royal engagement of the year.
Though there were quite a few lighter moments, William was also quizzed by reporters about Prince Andrew, who was recently stripped of his titles following an ongoing sexual assault case. The museum tells the story of the 18th-century Foundling Hospital - the UK's first children's charity. It was initially set up in 1739 as a care home for children at risk of abandonment. Kate, who wore a stylish blue coat over black pants and turtleneck and debuting darker brown locks, is now patron of the museum.
"We were able to understand first-hand the impact of spending time in care in the UK and its links with employment, housing, mental health, addiction and the youth justice system, 'and some of the work that is being done to tackle these issues,'" they said.
