As to allegations that the Minister violated the lockdown regulations, the law should take its course. The President summoned the Minister yesterday, Tuesday 07 April 2020. The President expressed his disapproval of the Minister’s actions, which undermine the requirement that all citizens stay at home and save South Africa from the spread of the coronavirus.
President Ramaphosa has placed the Minister on special leave for two months, during which Minister in The Presidency Jackson Mthembu will act in Minister Ndabeni-Abrahams’ position.

All people who broke lockdown rules should be removed from prisons, why are anc ministers so biased why do they they think they are better thn ordinary citizens, why is the president so soft with them what do they know about him that scares him 🙄😠
I'm waiting for the minister of police. Surely if the regulations were violated it becomes a criminal offence and the president can't short circuit the process.
