However, two individuals initially detained on Monday, 25 March, were later cleared and released following extensive questioning.

Despite the ordeal, the cousins were found to be in relatively good health, albeit exhausted and traumatised. Paramedics at the Klipgat police station’s Victims Friendly Room assessed their condition beforeMeanwhile, Humphrey Martin, the seventh suspect apprehended earlier on Friday, 8 March, remains in custody. Having appeared in court on multiple occasions, Martin awaits further legal proceedings, with his bail application set for Monday, 8 April.
As the investigation continues in the kidnapping case, authorities remain steadfast in their pursuit of justice. They are determined to hold all perpetrators accountable for their actions.
