A North West police spokesperson said police management was concerned after allegations surfaced of the alleged assault at the school.
The Independent Police Investigative Directorate is investigating reports of police officers allegedly assaulting pupils at Rakoko Secondary in Mabeskraal village, on the outskirts of Rustenburg, last Monday. North West police spokesperson Brigadier Sabata Mokgwabone said police management was concerned after allegations surfaced of the alleged assault.
"According to information available at this stage, reports suggest that members conducted a safer school awareness, along with other stakeholders.
