The forward has helped the Cape Town team win the first four matches of their Super Rugby campaign

Some players are just tough to beat, and in Pieter-Steph du Toit the Stormers possess a player now fully endowed with the winning habit.

“I haven’t thought about it‚” said Du Toit modestly. “You always want to win. You do everything you can to win. Winning is not everything and rugby is not everything‚ this is just a phase in your life. “And with this being our last year at Newlands, there is extra motivation. We are constantly keeping that in mind and keeping that as a motivation factor. The best way to say goodbye to Newlands is to do it by playing in a final and winning Super Rugby.”

Given his influence on proceedings‚ Du Toit occasionally drifts into the crosshairs of the opposition.
