Peninsula University escapes penalty for contempt of court

Under the arbitration award, cleaners, security guards, campus leaders, shift supervisors, team leaders and control centre operators, should have received pay rises backdated to August 1.

In court papers, Nhlapo said the director of risk and protection services had advised him about the arbitration agreement, and told him it would be implemented.
