Trade and Industry Minister Ebrahim Patel said that the hard lockdown was a 'blunt instrument' but one that bought valuable time for the government.

CAPE TOWN - As the country prepares to move to level 3 from Monday, Trade and Industry Minister Ebrahim Patel said that this was the most significant reopening of the economy since lockdown began 63 days ago.

Patel said that key sectors of the economy, including retail stores, would be able to operate at full capacity, with only some exceptions. While the lockdown helped contain the spread of the virus, it also inflicted huge damage on the economy and people’s livelihoods."Level 3, instead, is based on most South Africans being at work – that’s the big shift in level 3. And the shift is therefore to a more flexible and collaborative set of arrangements, including regulations that enable businesses to do more."

Correlation between people who don’t listen and spread of virus: Bheki Cele“Most of the people that have been arrested, they come from the hot areas. For instance, Western Cape leads in terms of the people that have been arrested, and then Gauteng is second,” said Cele. And how many rapists, murderers, child abusers, thieves, car hijackers and state capturers has he arrested I wonder. Irrelevant if you don’t say where the police have been stationed. 🙄 No reasoning on this one. He just open his mouth and talk crap. Instead of police focusing on real issues yena he’s busy looking to terrorize people who are going to work, doing no crime. Ayeza kodwa ama elections ngeke sikhohlwe
