Rustenburg - A parent and two North West primary school teachers appeared in separate courts in the province on charges of assault committed at two different schools.
An enraged Letsepe had accused Sepotokele of being abusive towards her son. Her son had come come crying, alleging that Sepotokele had slapped him.Sepotokele maintains that she could never abuse a child. "I am injured on my right hand, I use it for writing and marking as a teacher. It is still painful to use now. I still go to physiotherapy for this hand," she told the court."I felt unsafe in the environment I was in.
In Tlhabane, near Rustenburg, two teachers from Motladi Kgoadigoadi Primary School are appearing in the Bafokeng Magistrae's Court for allegedly assaulting two minor siblings - a boy and his sister. Her 53-year-old colleague also appeared in the regional court on June 20 for the alleged assault of a ten-year-old girl.
The father claimed that prior to the beating, his children told him they were told at school that he should transfer them to another school.
