Orlando Pirates are ready to revamp their goalkeeping department at the end of the season with two being released to make way for another duo

Those players are expected to be followed out of the exit door by a few more, in the coming window. The likes of, among those touted for an exit. Another name that could enter that list soon is goalkeepershould he exit the club. Mpontshane could retire and stay at Pirates in a non-playing role while they release Ofori.“Siya (Mpontshane has been with Pirates for close to 10 years and he’s well liked at the club but he’s 38 now. It looks more likely that he will retire at the end of the season.

He must play in order to keep his place in the Ghana national team. I’m told he has interest from clubs in the Middle East if Pirates don’t exercise the one-year option on his contract.” Said the source. Should Ofori and Mpontshane make way, it is thought that they could each be replaced by Pirates. One replacement is set to be returning star.
