Opposition bays for prosecutions following Zondo reports, but EFF attacks judiciary | News24

While opposition parties spoke about the challenge ahead for the NPA to deal with the state capture corruption cases emanating from the Zondo Commission, two parties were rather mum on matters Zondo when a mini-plenary of the National Assembly debated the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development's budget.

These parties are the ANC, which is implicated by the Zondo reports, and the EFF, whose attack on the rule of law and judiciary echoed the talking points often heard from the so-called RET faction of the ANC. The only constitutional body which the EFF supported in Tuesday's debate is the Public Protector, whose head, Busisiwe Mkhwebane, is currently facing impeachment. The EFF is a puppet-party for the RET faction, that much is certain. They have no consistent moral basis for anything, their principles blow with the wind and change daily. I regret ever supporting this party.
