Former director-general of the department of justice & constitutional development Nonkululeko Sindane, who was part of the investigating team, testified at the Zondo commission on state capture on Wednesday. Sindane referred to recorded conversations in which Koloane was speaking to other officials about the flight. In them, he makes references to “number one”, a term commonly used to refer to the president.
“We found that Koloane, in facilitating this landing, ignored a whole range of things that he knew needed to exist before this landing was permissible,”said Sindane. “They were using the power of the office of the ministers to say this was okay. We felt that was abusing the positions of power of these people who have been identified,” Sindane said.

Waterkloof? Huh? ‘No one’ told ex-minister about Gupta flightBen Martins denies having prior knowledge that the Guptas planned to land at the air force base. 🙊🙉🙈 I dont trust this madala I grew up knowing that elderly people don't lie. Even young kids know that ANCriminals and ANCrooks are liars. It's pathetic for these elders to be known as such.
