OFFICIAL: Four PSG players handed bans, incl. African star

Achraf Hakimi, Ousmane Dembele and two other Paris Saint-Germain stars have been suspended over their involvement in anti-gay chants after a game against Olympique Marseille last month.

The French giants have had a miserable week, having been thrashed 4-1 by Newcastle United in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday in what is their heaviest group-stage defeat ever in the competition. However, the result earlier this week has not been the only blow the club has suffered, as four of their players, including three first-team regulars, have been hit with a ban.

The players have received the ban due to their involvement in anti-gay chants made after a game against Olympique Marseille last month.
