has now officially revealed all the nominees for the 2022 Ballon d'Or award, including Karim Benzema and Sadio Mane, but there was no soace for Lione Messi.
Real Madrid striker Benzema is one of the favourites to clinch the Golden Ball following his impressive displays in the 2021/22 campaign, which saw him clinch both the LaLiga title and the UEFA Champions League trophy. Bayern Munich star Sadio Mane is also among those who have a shot at winning the prestigious prize this year, having won the Africa Cup of Nations with Senegal in addition to the two trophies he claimed last season with his previous club Liverpool.
More recently, the 30-year-old won the acclaimed CAF African Men's Player of the Year award, beating compatriot Edouard Mendy and former Anfield strike partner Mohamed Salah to the prize.
