Impala Platinum CEO Nico Muller reveals how close the company came to withdrawing its takeover offer for Royal Bafokeng Platinum.

Impala Platinum nearly withdrew its takeover offer for Royal Bafokeng Platinum . “You’ll never know how close we came to it,” says Implats CEO Nico Muller. Muller’s strongly held view was that the joint venture that would have resulted with rival Northam Platinum would have been unworkable. ..A subscription helps you enjoy the best of our business content every day along with benefits such as articles from our international business news partners; ProfileData financial data; and digital access to the Sunday Times and TimesLive Premium.
