JOHANNESBURG - Former South African president, Nelson Mandela, passed away ten years ago this year and to commemorate his inspirational life, award-winning actress Nomzamo Mbatha and the Cotton On Foundation planted native trees and installed personalised plant cards throughout the Dr JL Dube High School in KwaMashu.

The school, which bears the name of South African essayist, John Langalibalele Dube, was founded in 1979 and can currently house more than 1,200 students in grades 8 through 12. ' EWN Lifestyle July 18, 2023 The Cotton On Foundation's involvement with the school includes a food plan, the introduction of sporting programming, teacher training, supplemental funding for operating expenditures and the delivery of reading resources for students."It is up to all of us to plant and protect these valuable living organisms that contribute greatly to our quality of life and the quality of life we are able to provide for future generations.
