Those fearless heroes and heroines. The Class of 1976, who defied the odds and defied injustice. This year marks 44 years since the gallant students of our country led widespread revolt against the apartheid education system.
As the youth of 1976 fought an oppressive regime, it is incumbent upon the youth of 2020 to work together to fight and overcome the invisible enemy of Covid-19. Comparison of our response to the Covid-19 pandemic with that of other countries shows how many lives were saved because of the lockdown. This includes, but is not limited to, support to small and medium enterprises, increases to all social grants, the establishment of the solidarity fund, additional financial support to the department of health and local government and the introduction of a special Covid-19 grant – a basic income grant for the unemployed, a first in South Africa’s history.
Notwithstanding these challenges, we encourage our youth remain resolute and work with government to overcome these obstacles.
A bunch of sleepists. This is the same lady who slept in parliament while important social issues were being discussed. When MP MbuyiseniNdlozi called her out, she quickly woke up and first thing she did was was cuss and swear at Ndlozi for calling her out 😂 🤣 😂 hayi, mxm.
A better South Africa is removing ANC from power... They've failed Black's for 27 years... Our lives will be better once we remove cANCer...
Engaging youth in the quest to build a better South Africa requires a corrupt free leadership. Putting people's interest at heart first. Isn't it clear that South Africa is bleeding billions of rands in the hands of looters to the detriment of the youthful generation.
They act as though they don't see the real problem here. They must just deal with companies that hire foreign nationals instead of local citizens.
What about Gay Pride Month
