Mr Fisher, on Tuesday, unseated Nigeria's Hilda Bacci to take the world record for the longest cooking marathon.
"I can't recall how often I've been sick, homesick or sore. Just head down and get to work. Breaking these records is a fitting way to close this chapter," he wrote on his Instagram page. The 26-year-old Nigerian chef began her cooking marathon on 11 May and continued till Monday, 15 May, cooking over 100 pots of food during her four-day kitchen stint.
He further noted that all the evidence for baking and cooking attempts have been uploaded to GWR for review.His post on the photo-sharing app has drawn the ire of Nigerians, who mostly accuse him of stealing the shine off Ms Baci.
