Jacques Nienaber is set to vacate his post as Springbok coach and join a European club at the conclusion of the Springboks' 2023 Rugby World Cup campaign in France.

Jacques Nienaber is set to vacate his post as Springbok coach and join a European clubIn an official SA Rugby press release, Nienaber confirmed he would be joining the “Leinster coaching ranks” and cited personal reasons for his decision.

Rian Oberholzer, SA Rugby CEO, said: “Jacques was very open with us about the reasons for wanting to leave South Africa at the end of the season. Mark Alexander, SA Rugby President, said: “Jacques has been a great servant of South African rugby at provincial and national level for two decades but now is not the time for thank yous.
