Following recent comments from Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi, it appears the 30-year-old Selecao star's future at the French giants is far from secure.
Asked recently if Neymar remains part of the sporting project at the club, Al-Khelaifi refused to confirm that the ex-Barcelona attacker would still be at the Ligue 1 champions heading into the 2022/23 season.has now claimed that Newcastle United have shown an interest in signing the former Santos prodigy.
Neymar, however, reportedly did not bat an eye at the approach from the Saudi Arabian-backed Premier League side, whose owners are widely believed to be the richest in world football. The same report suggests that the Brazilian's contract in France will automatically be extended by an extra year in July, meaning his deal will run until 2026.Share
