Africa: Drones to deliver vaccines, blood and drugs across Ghana By Reuters reuters

Medics will place orders by text message when supplies run dry, said GAVI chief executive Seth Berkley.

“The idea is that these four distribution centres can make up to 600 on-demand delivery flights a day,” Berkley told reporters in a telephone briefing. “And that can expand up to 2,000 over time.” The project – led by Zipline, a California-based robotics company – is designed to deliver to around 2,000 health facilities serving 12 million people across the west African country.

Newsdeck: DA ‘horrified’ about dead babies, amputated limbs at Charlotte Maxeke hospital laundryThe DA said on Thursday that it was 'horrified' by a report that amputated limbs and dead babies were found regularly at the laundry of Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital. strange that Jack Bloom and/or the DA haven’t caused mass hysteria about this...I’m also finding the story thin on facts 🤔. If this is true, it is indeed sad.
