Lira said she is doing the best she can during her recovery journey after suffering a stroke.

Taking to her Instagram after a short hiatus, she posted a clip of herself living her best life soaking up the sun and taking in breathtaking views. “Compliments of the new year! I haven’t posted this year. My speech healing is very slow, I’m doing the best I can to remain sane. I’m still alive and well.Though the stroke affected her ability to communicate, “Five months and still alive and kicking. I’m grateful for the gift of life. I’m making incredible progress and enjoying the much-needed break. One lesson I’ve learnt is to slow down, smell the roses and savour each moment,” she wrote on her Instagram timeline.

By the way she’s a daughter of one of the greatest midfielders this country has even seen, Webster Lechaba, my all time favorite player after the great magician Ace Ntsoelengoe. No disrespect to her……she’s talented by her own right.

Good luck to her. She’s one of the most talented musicians ever to come out of this country. Speedy recovery Lira👌🏾
