Last year the Mr Gay World Competition was hosted in South Africa, for the fourth time in the organisation's 11-year history, and 41-year-old Janjep Carlos from the PhilippinesApplications for the Mr Gay World South Africa is open until 15 October 2019, and anyone can enter atMr Gay World is an opportunity for LGBTQ+ members across South Africa to highlight the plight and success of the LGBTQ+ community as well as gain tremendous exposure for themselves and their causes.

The top 12 finalists for Mr Gay World South Africa will be announced on Saturday 26 October 2019 at Johannesburg Pride.
