'Things happen': Boxer Floyd Mayweather responded to sex trafficking allegations against his friend Sean 'Diddy' Combs.

Last week Monday, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security revealed that it had opened an investigation into Diddy,

reported. The officials were granted warrants to raid Diddy’s multi-million dollar mansions in Miami and Los Angeles. Both of the homes were ultimately turned upside down during the searches.reported. A number of lawsuits have since been filed against the rap music mogul following his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura’s lawsuit accusing Diddy of rape and sex trafficking.

“I’m not going to speak bad about P. Diddy because he’s still a Black man. I mean, mistakes happen, and I can’t say if it is or isn’t a mistake. But, things happen in life, and P. Diddy’s business is P. Diddy’s business. It’s not my job, or anybody else’s job to go on the internet and stomp him and kick a man while he’s down. My take on it is it’s not my business,” Mayweather said.

“I don’t think it’s right at all, and I don’t condone it. Even if it happened to my daughter, I would be hurt. But that’s a choice my daughter made,” Mayweather added.Diddy’s lawyer Aaron Dryer has also stepped forward to defend his client. In a statement, Dyer said Diddy was ambushed and added that the raids were “meritless”.

“This unprecedented ambush — paired with an advanced, coordinated media presence — leads to a premature rush to judgment of Mr. Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits,” Diddy’s lawyer said in a“There has been no finding of criminal or civil liability with any of these allegations. Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every single day to clear his name,” Dyer reportedly said in the statement.
