The 8-year-old sole survivor of the deadly Limpopo bus crash that claimed the lives of 45 people from Botswana on Thursday is recovering well in hospital and is expected to be discharged this week, according to Health MEC Phophi Ramathuba. The 45 people died when the bus plunged 50 metres from a bridge into a ravine and burst into flames near Mamatlakala.
Transport authorities said it was believed that 46 people, including the driver, were on the bus. Only nine of the 34 bodies recovered have been identified.
