A couple from Florida, USA discovered an unconventional way to bond when he helped ease her breastfeeding pain by drinking her milk. Now they’re contemplating having another child so she can produce breast milk for her husband to drink."It's actually more about our emotional bond being strengthened. I like breastfeeding him because we spend a lot more time together. As a couple, it has definitely brought us much closer," Rachel says.
"I was still breastfeeding my oldest child when Alexander and I were alone on a boat trip at one point. I forgot my breast pump at home and my breasts were full and swollen – it was painfully sore," Rachel recalls."So we decided that Alexander would drink my milk to give me some relief.” "We realised there's actually nothing wrong with this, on the contrary – it's good and nutritious for him," she says."It was a wonderful experience and I'm glad we did it. Alexander always says he feels like he has more energy after he's had breast milk. I always want to ask people who criticise us why it's strange for him to drink my breast milk, but not milk from a container that you don't even know where it comes from.
