CITY PRESS has a vacancy for the key position of parliamentary reporter. The incumbent will work closely with the Editor and Political Editor of City Press. The position is based at Parliament in Cape Town, however the incumbent will often travel, often at short notice, to cover political events.
The incumbent is specifically tasked to be informed about events and developments within the governing party and opposition parties;Qualifications and experience:Prior political writing will enhance the candidate’s chances, as will a network of contacts among political parties in parliament.
