Mbesuma Jnr is still looking for his first professional contract after receiving a national team call-up for the Zambian U17 squad for the Africa Cup of Nations last year.The 16-year-old striker, who has been part of SuperSport United and the Bidvest Wits academy, in the past was registered with Jomo Cosmos last season.
Among his accolades in Mzansi, Mbesuma Snr won the PSL Player of the Season award at the end of the 2004/05 season having scored an incredible 35 goals for Amakhosi, perhaps a shadow his son will have to live under for the rest of his footballing career.
