“The terrible events that have unfolded cannot be described as a labour dispute. They are plainly dastardly criminal and must be characterised as such. In line with this characterisation, there needs to be concomitant action to address this situation.
In all 44 people were killed that week in violence linked to an unprotected strike at Lonmin’s platinum mine in Marikana. The workers were demanding a salary of R12 500 and better living conditions. “The idea or suggestion of resolving the issue by Lonmin management engaging with dialogue with its employees was to be rejected as repugnant and one to be avoided … as the workers were criminals, concomitant action was required to be perpetrated against them,” the lawyers argue.
The lawyers argue that the pressure exerted by Ramaphosa and the re-characterisation of the strike as criminal would be transmitted from the political principals through senior police management and ultimately to the police forces on the ground to sanction the unlawful use of force and its fatal consequences. Ramaphosa, represented by Edward Nathan Sonnenberg, argues that his communication and emails did not constitute actionable incitement or wrongful conduct.

If they are serious, the lawyers should get phone records that were directed to minister of police and safety from Cyril, to get core recorded conversations, they will nail this case and this Buffalo down, if not so, its a fruitless exercise & a waste of taxpayers money and time.

That law firm is suspicious, you may find that the likes og the Hlaudi's are running it.
Cyril Ramaphosa is singlehandedly responsible for the killing of Marikana miners, his “concomitant” instruction was never a sweet tone but a hefty instruction to the police commissioner to do whatever it takes even if it means miners are killed to end the strike. Jail him already
Long over due ' Ramaphosa must resign period
What is 'lawful killings'? Those miners were murdered.

Julius_S_Malema Interesting 🧐, now who is going to pay damages for the unlawful killing of Marikana 10 ?
Nkanyiso_ngqulu I'd be surprised if the court stretches this that much to order Ramaphosa pay a delictual claim for that Massacre
Julius_S_Malema Although the likelihood of the litigation being successful is minimal considering the current balance of political forces, but it still remains critical for the matter to be pursued in this way so that history can record that there are those who did something!✊🏿
Nope if weaponed persons/criminals storm you the world rules is that you can retaliate with the same force.
He threatened minister of police and minister of labour that it was bad for them because they were failing to take concomitant action against the miners.
The Marikana massacre instigator must be brought to justice!

Questions: Did President CyrilRamaphosa abuse his membership of & connections in the ruling MYANC to interfere in Marikana? Did he interfere in Marikana because he had financial interest in Lonmin? If the answer is yes to both questions, then, 👮👮 kuye.
Once Cyril’s tenure is over, he must b sent to jail
Waste of the Court's time and a waste of their money. I don't see on what legal basis Ramaphosa and Lonmin can be held liable for the police's bungled operation.
They r waisting their time we already knew how will be the outcome be like we no longer predict the cort verdicts
