CAPE TOWN - The Cape Town community of Manenberg has become synonymous with crime, gang violence and drugs.
But high school pupils from seven schools in the area, have shown they can still achieve their goals despite their circumstances. Top matric achievers with more than a dozen distinctions among them have been honoured by the community at a public gathering.
