The national team coach Hugo Broos named his 23-man squad to play two friendlies, against Guinea and France. and many have questioned the selection. Makhosonke Bhengu has joined a faction of fans asking about the inclusion of Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Bruce Bvuma and the ongoing overlooking of arguably one of the best players in the Premier Soccer League, Themba Zwane.

"The squad looks good but there's some questions, especially in the midfield. I don't understand why Pule Mmodi is no longer there and to include Mthobi Mvala and Bvuma, it is very hard to understand," Bhengu told the Siya crew."I also don't understand the reason to not include Themba Zwane. Who told him that he will retire in two years? The reality is Bafana Bafana needs players like Zwane.
