"It is a luxury item and that is what we tried to do, we tried to create something fresh and I didn't try and shock people by making purple basis or vegan pizza's, this is not a hipster pizza, it is for people who like to make love to food," he said. Chef Mazzone says he created the pizza to show that pizza can be something that is luxurious and exciting.
