Reds winger Luis Diaz is said to be very much receptive to a move to the Iberian Peninsula, according to his father.the recently kidnapped Colombian said that his son still dreams of a move to the Spanish top flight amid speculation of interest in him from the likes of Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.
Addressing how the 27-year-old's move away from FC Porto occurred, Mane Diaz admitted: “There was never anything serious with Real Madrid or Atletico ."Luis is playing well and Spanish clubs are always active in the market." The South American's father was taken hostage in Colombia late last year by the National Liberation Army, a Marxist–Leninist guerrilla insurgency group. The group initially kidnapped both Diaz and his wife, Cilenis Marulanda.Their son Luis, meanwhile, has been in impressive form for the six-time European champions, who remain in the hunt to win the Premier League as well as the UEFA Europa League in what is manager Jurgen Klopp's final season in charge of the club.
