PIC: ANC secretary general Ace Magashule talks to reporters at the Zondo commission of inquiry on Tuesday. Zuma previously claimed that the ANC was infiltrated by spies, and that there was a conspiracy in the party to get rid of him because of what he knows about these covert operations.
Magashule told reporters on Tuesday that he served on every NEC since the time of Nelson Mandela and that Zuma's spy claims needed to be considered.BREAKING: ANC secretary general Ace Magashule says Zuma's spy claims are serious and that the ANC must investigate them. During a tea break, Magashule said that Zuma informed the ANC on Friday that he will say things the party won’t be happy about when he testifies at the judicial commission of inquiry. Magashule says the party will make a collective decision about the claims because “they are serious”.Masuku says Zuma was not afforded the opportunity to make a statement like the other witnesses were.
NOTE: This is the first time that Zuma's legal team is raising this issue, on day 2 of the proceedings.
