All the SAPS people arrested are people who attempted but did not do so. There seems to be a difference in clarity over the arrests. It's not clear if the arrested people successfully doubled voted or not.The IEC has confirmed a statement by the SAPS that a journalist was arrested for attempted to double vote.
The ANC has scored convincing victories in all provinces except the Western Cape - which was won by the DA.Among those arrested for attempted re-voting are two brothers.On the arrested voters, 17 were arrested in one area. Sy Mamabolo says the IEC will work throughout the night to conclude the process. They expect by midnight to have concluded all voting stations outstanding.96.6% of voting stations have declared results. The following have concluded 100%.
