Only a few days since the PSL completed the delayed season, teams are already reporting for pre-season camps for the 2020/21 campaign.

The GladAfrica Championship season ended on August 30 while the Absa Premiership concluded on September 5.

Players were given a few days off because they had an enforced four-month break from March to July when games were suspended. The 2020/21 season was set to start on October 9 but will be pushed further to accommodate the Fifa international week. AmaZulu also returned this week to training. Mamelodi Sundowns and Bloemfontein Celtic will likely give their players a few days off after competing in the Nedbank Cup final on Saturday. Brilliant Mkhathini, the club’s media officer, said: “The players did their Covid-19 tests this week and will be back at training on Monday.”
