Lithium Americas Announces Proposed Public Offering of

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, April 17, 2024 — Lithium Americas Corp. announced that it intends to offer and sell, subject to market conditions, 55,000,000 of its common shares in an underwritten public offering . All of the Common Shares to be sold in the Offering will be offered by Lithium Americas. The Offering is subject to market and other conditions, and there can be no assurance as to whether or when the Offering may be completed, or as to the actual size or terms of the Offering.

The Offering will be made in the United States by way of a prospectus supplement to the Company’s existing base shelf prospectus forming part of an effective registration statement on Form F-3 , and will be made in Canada by way of a prospectus supplement to the Company’s existing base shelf prospectus . The Offering is being made in the United States and in each of the provinces and territories of Canada, except Québec.
