Just over a million rand in payments were made from EOH's former public sector head to politically exposed persons over a period of two years, a probe found. | Fin24

The Judicial Commission of Inquiry into State capture is hearing evidence from ENSafrica Forensics, which conducted a probe into ICT firm EOH.

A probe has found that payments were made from listed ICT firm EOH's public sector head Jehan Mackay to certain politically exposed persons over a period of two years, the Judicial Commission of Inquiry into State Capture heard. Given the irregularities detected in the department of defence contracts – where EOH was found to have over-invoiced licences, which were not delivered and also flouted procurement procedures by circumventing SITA, the state agency which handles procurement for IT services, regarding the contract.
