Lions make four changes for unbeaten Rebels via SABCNewsOnline

Springbok scrumhalf Ross Cronje says the Lions changes are part of their rotational policy.

The Lions have named their starting line-up for Saturday’s Super Rugby clash against the unbeaten Rebels in Johannesburg. The Lions fielded a relatively young team in the previous match against the Jaguars. Youngster Wandisile Simelani, who went on to win man of the match against the Jaguars, retains position at outside centre. They have made four changes to the starting fifteen. Springbok scrumhalf Ross Cronje says the changes are part of their rotational policy.

“I think the key in Super Rugby these days is rotation, everybody is on the same page and everybody knows exactly what the game plan is and what we going to do in order to win over the weekend. But it’s a long season so if you want to keep the guys fresh and hungry and ready to go rotation is 100% key,” says Cronje.
