Life Esidimeni inquest to begin in July

of 144 psychiatric patients, who were moved out of Life Esidimeni centres in 2015 and 2016.hope the inquest will lead to criminal charges against those responsible.

No one has been charged yet, despite former deputy chief justice Dikgang Moseneke's finding that there was arrogant and irrational use of public power in the decision to move the patients.Christine Nxumalo, member of the Life Esidimeni Family Committee said: "We're glad that we're finally getting to the point of the inquest. It has taken us a very long time to get to this, so we're very happy.

"What we are expecting is that the evidence that has been collected all this time will lead to specific names of people who need to be charged."

Who do they want to arrest now....if they are interested in this punishment they were supposed to refuse that R 1 million compensation....
