Top TV producer Nkululeko “Legend” Manqele has allegedly been dodging a Gauteng-based entertainment communications marketing agency that is trying to recover more than R3 million that was paid into his account mistakenly.
“I, the undersigned, Legend Manqele, being duly authorised by and representing the BarLeader TV cc, do hereby acknowledge that the company is truly, lawfully and unconditionally indebted to Levergy Marketing Agency Ltd in the sum of R4 094 149 as at the date hereof, together with interest thereon at the maximum permissible legal rate,” read the signed agreement, which City Press has seen.Manqele was supposed to have made full capital payment to the agency by November 1 2019.
According to the court order, a duplicate payment was made to Manqele by the agency and a third party.
