Netcare911 spokesperson Shawn Herbst said the shooting happened at 7:42pm on Jackscastle Avenue in Castle Hill, Newlands West.The man, who was alone in the bus at the time, was shot in the chest and declared dead on the scene.
Police spokesperson Captain Nqobile Gwala said the man sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body. A murder case has been opened.
