The KwaZulu-Natal African National Congress Youth League march against uMngeni Mayor Chris Pappas is underway in Howick in the province’s midlands.

This is related to the alleged preferential treatment of uMngeni Tourism, in which Pappas’ partner JP Prinsloo is involved.Hundreds of ANC Youth League members have gathered in Howick in the KwaZulu-Natal midlands for a protest against uMngeni mayor – Chris Pappas. This after allegations of nepotism and corruption have been levelled against Pappas last week.

“The municipality has procurement processes that need to be followed in order for someone to be given money.
