Radio and TV personality Kuli Roberts has weighed in on the colourism debate, saying that dark-skinned girls should not be pressured into hating their complexion.

“We are not going to have a generation of dark-skinned kids hating their complexions because of you. Not today, satan,” she wrote. She said people need to speak out on discrimination and teach relatives the right way to treat people, even if it sometimes makes you unpopular.— STOP ALBINISM KILLINGS — STOP ALBINISM KILLINGS Kuli said Africans have been judging each other for decades, but it was time for things to change.

When one follower said she found the pictures “quite goofy and funny”, Kuli said it hadn't stopped others from being “vile”.
