Germany international Toni Kroos has reportedly come to a decision on his future at Real Madrid, with whom he has a contract until only the end of the season. This will see the former Bayern Munich man remain in Spain until 2025, after it was previously thought he could cut ties with the club in June this year.
Kroos recently made headlines after he came out of international retirement following talks with Germany head coach Julian Nagelsmann ahead of the 2024 UEFA European Championship. The 34-year-old has enjoyed an impressive campaign with the Spanish giants, having contributed to eight goals in 38 appearances across all competitions.
His return to the international stage saw him provide two assists in friendly matches France and the Netherlands, both of whom he completed 90 minutes against. The midfielder is back for Germany after retiring from international duty following the Euros in 2020, after Die Mannschaft crashed out at the round of 16 stage following a 2-0 defeat to England. It is said Kroos' renewal at Real will be announced soon, with a full agreement between him and the club in place.
