Keagan Dolly's season with Kaizer Chiefs has been brought to a premature end while his inclusion in Bafana Bafana's upcoming AFCON qualifiers could also be in doubt. Full story ➡

Kaizer Chiefs star Keagan Dolly is set to miss the Amakhosi's must-win season finale against Swallows FC next weekend after being ruled out with injury ahead of the club's 1-0 win over Sekhukhune United on Saturday.

The 29-year-old has been one of the club's star performers since arriving at Naturena from Montpellier and has aided his side's cause with an impressive return of eight goals and five assists across all competitions. However, he will have to watch from the sidelines as the Soweto giants look to secure CAF qualification later this week after the club confirmed that his season had been curtailed as a result of an undisclosed injury.

While the official dates for the qualifiers are yet to be confirmed, it is understood that the first round of fixtures will commence on 30 May, leaving the former Mamelodi Sundowns in a race against time to be fit for national team duty. Dolly has scored three goals in 23 appearances for Bafana Bafana and was part of the most recent squad which faced Guinea and reigning world champions France in international action in March.
